We woke up to a beautiful day and the view of the Norwegian Epic awaiting our arrival.  We treated ourselves to room service and made our way down to the Port via taxi.

We arrived to the Port about 1 p.m., we were advised that the stateroom number determined which terminal you entered  for check in(Terminal B or C).  We were separated from our traveling guests but later found each other once on board.  The boarding process was under an hour.

This ship is EPIC!  We embraced the modern and tasteful décor as we walked throughout the ship.  Staterooms were open around 2 p.m.  We like all the lightening elements in the room (especially the circular mood lighting on the ceiling).  The curves in the walls and cabinetry offer a modern and comfortable feel.  The shower is larger than most, but the separate loo has a very narrow opening and may be a challenge for some.  Ample space on board for clothing, and personal items.    The stateroom is probably smaller than most but makes the best use of space.

We enjoyed lunch in Taste, I ordered the Spring roll with Cobb salad.  The Spring roll was very fresh tasting, the vegetables were very crisp and the accompanying sauce offered a nice touch of spice.  The Cobb was done very well, all items were very cold and vegetables very crisp, large chunks of ham, and blue cheese.

The sail-a-way party was very festive on board, people, dancing and enjoying the views as we depart the picturesque Miami area.  We looked to the sky and saw a plane displaying a bon voyage message to all the Cruises Inc travel agents on board.  What a hoot!
