Why does the back of the Epic look so funny?

The aft design of the Norwegian Epic is something quite different to the average cruiser.  But, there is a lot going on back there.  On the very top is Spice H2O (dancing to FABBA, movies and performances night and day).   Just under Spice H2O is the Mandara Spa with breath taking views from the quiet lounge areas.    Aft staterooms take up most of the remaining design.  The Large picture  window is the Manhattan Restaurant were you can dine and some nights see Legends in Concert perform.
