The Port of Roatan

As we arrived in Roatan, we felt that we had arrived in one of the lush islands in Hawaii.  Our travel friends hired a taxi to drive to the West End of the Island and took in some great sites.  Along the way they visited a quaint zoo where they interacted with baby spider monkeys.  Take a look at the Epic just a stones throw from the Port.  Walk into town and find the "Hand Made in Roatan" shop, this is a non-profit business with unique hand made items and jewelry from local artists.

We visited Mamasitas Taqueria and bar before returning to the ship.  You'll find local beers for $3.00.
